Glynhill Hotel & Spa near Glasgow Airport

The restaurant was beautiful and very good value for money. The room was great and extremely comfortable. Clean and tidy. The staff were very polite and considerate with ASD daughter, making us feel very at ease.

We were attending a family celebration. The meal was pre ordered but was very nice and everyone at the table of about 25 people was very complementary with regard to the food and service. We did not have breakfast as we don't have a large breakfast. Used the tea, coffee facility and brought some yogurt and fruit with us. We were advised on arrival that we had been upgraded from a double to a king size room.

The room was clean with space enough for a family. Beds were comfortable. The food was exceptional, really tasty in the restaurant and it was a great selection of options for breakfast too Brilliant coffee! The changing room in the leisure club was perfect with all the extras for little ones. Plus point for the effective hairdryer.

Easy to check in. Room was newly decorated and clean. Staff at breakfast area were so helpful as we had to eat breakfast in bar due to dog. Bar staff were also friendly and efficient. Could have done with one more on Sunday evening as had to queue. Reception staff were also efficient and friendly.

The Glynhill is in a perfect location, just off the motorway, but close to local facilities. We stayed with our 4 daughters, ages 9, 11, 11 & 13, when travelling south. The welcome given on arrival from the young but well trained reception staff was a great start, which followed on through our stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The restaurant staff were very accommodating when we asked to eat in the bar area. The food was excellent and great value for money. We started the day with a swim, the pool was a decent size and facilities kept clean. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with lots of choice including a good range of gluten-free and vegetarian options. It's lovely to stay in a family run hotel who is employing local staff. We will definitely be back to stay again.
